National aids memorial grove

QuarryHouse worked with the people of San Francisco to install the National Aids Memorial Grove. Situated in Golden Gate Park's poetic de Laveaga Dell, the living monument invites visitors to pause, reflect, and honor lives touched by AIDS. The award-winning sanctuary showcases six flagstone gathering areas, Sierra granite boulders, and freestanding benches. QuarryHouse joined prominent architects, landscape architects, and designers to plan and renovate the site. The sparse and pastoral National Aids Memorial Grove celebrates both the ephemeral nature of life and the enduring beauty of one of the city's most beautiful parks.
